The Maktab at Islamic Tarbiyah Academy (ITA) provides a nurturing and supportive environment for young childrento begin their Islamic education. Our Maktab program is designed to introduce children to the Quran, basic Islamic studies, and good manners in a way that is engaging and accessible. The Maktab curriculum aims to establish a strong foundation for young students, helping them develop an early love for Islam and build lifelong habits of learning, worship, and respect.

Key Areas of Focus
Quranic Studies:
Students will begin memorizing short Surahs and learn the proper recitation (Tajweed).
Basic Islamic Knowledge:
Introduction to core Islamic beliefs, the Five Pillars of Islam, and Prophet Muhammad’s (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)life and teachings.
Arabic Language:
Basic introduction to Arabic, focusing on understanding and recognising the Quranic script.
